Spazmosity emerged as part of the underground metal scene in Stockholm in 1994. The first demo tape “The Fading of Life” was released in 1997 and was followed by “Brought Back from the Grave” two years later. In 2003 their third and highly critically acclaimed demo “Storm Metal” was released. During these early years Spazmosity shared stage with, among others, Amon Amarth, Lobotomy, Vinterland, Watain, Throneaeon and Entombed.
In 2006, after some years of silence, Spazmosity was resurrected and gave numerous shows with bands like Remasculate, The Ugly, Carnal Forge, Insision, Grave and Necrophobic. In 2009 the band entered Necromorbus Studio to record their first full length album “Welcome Death”. The album was released on Khaosmaster Productions in 2010.
Soon after, the band became inactive and the members did service in other bands, Grá, Cursed 13, Valkyrja and Grave. In 2023, 29 years after their formation, Spazmosity are once again risen from the ashes and brought back to deliver a message of tremendous terror and death!
